Condition
Tiburon waterproof deck system
This deck sat above a living room, so the project needed more than a surface refresh. Vino added a waterproofing deck system with torch-down protection, then built the finish surface with a Bison pedestal system and IPE detailing.
- Waterproofing assembly for a deck over living space
- 24 in. x 24 in. deck tile layout with direction changes for a large square pattern
- IPE oil sealant, stainless steel wire railing, and new bench details

Interior
Sahim Residence, Monticello Road
After the 2017 fires, this Monticello Road home was redesigned and rebuilt as a contemporary modern residence. The project included a complex hillside rebuild, new infrastructure, generator connection at the panel, smooth drywall finishes, natural hardwood floors, custom stone fireplaces, tiled bathrooms, custom granite, maple cabinets, and detailed interior finish work throughout the home.
- Start-to-finish 2017 fire rebuild with contemporary modern design direction
- Monticello area site complexity, infrastructure, and panel generator connection
- Completed exterior and interior finish work, including hardwood, stone, tile, granite, and maple cabinetry
Homeowner testimonial
A client voice from the Monticello Road rebuild, placed directly with the Sahim project so visitors can connect the finished work with the homeowner experience.
As-built
Proposed
As-built and proposed floor plans
Vino also supports projects before construction starts. This drafting package shows how existing conditions are documented first, then translated into a proposed floor plan with dimensions, layout changes, design notes, and finish callouts.
- Existing/as-built floor plan used to confirm what is already there
- Proposed floor plan showing layout changes, dimensions, and design callouts
- Useful first step for remodels, ADUs, additions, permits, and design-build planning

- Proposed floor plan and kitchen elevations used to confirm layout and cabinet direction
- Renderings used to review finishes, lighting, island scale, and material direction before build work

Bathroom transformation
See how a dated bathroom can become a cleaner, more finished space with updated tile, glass, fixtures, and layout decisions.
- Updated shower tile, glass, and fixtures
- Cleaner visual proof than a long generic gallery
- Useful for bathroom service page internal linking
Finished detail
Vanity and fixture finish
A focused detail image helps the page feel more premium without making unsupported claims. It gives visitors a closer look at materials and finish decisions.
- Good support image for bathroom remodel leads
- Works well in mobile because the subject is clear
- Can later link to a dedicated bathroom case study
Condition
Marin poolside deck before and after
This Marin deck project now has a clearer before-and-after story: the existing poolside condition on the left and finished deck video on the right. It helps homeowners understand the change in usable outdoor space, railing detail, wood finish quality, and site feel.
- Existing condition photo paired with finished project video
- Outdoor living upgrade with wood deck finish, gate, and cable railing detail
- Strong proof point for deck, exterior remodel, and design-build leads
Foundation
Deck and stairs
John's hillside deck and stair project
This Sonoma deck project for John is now grouped correctly as one project. The media shows both the hillside foundation/site-work stage and the deck and stair work in the same outdoor living case study.
- Deck foundation progress on a hillside Sonoma property
- Deck and stair work connected to the same project, not a separate gallery item
- Useful proof for outdoor living projects with real slope and site conditions

This Petaluma porch renovation shows exterior work where the details matter: preserving the character of an older home while repairing and refreshing the entry so it feels clean, safe, and consistent with the historic style.
- Historic porch and exterior entry renovation in Petaluma
- Pressure-treated framing progress grouped with the finished red porch details
- Useful proof for homeowners with older homes, porch repairs, and exterior remodels
Video proof
Short project clips give a faster feel for the work.
Photos show the finish. Video helps homeowners understand space, scale, movement, views, construction detail, and the path from existing conditions through progress and final work. These clips use existing Vino project media and can be swapped as stronger final edits are uploaded.
Tiburon deck project clip
This clip supports the Tiburon deck story: waterproofing above living space, pedestal deck construction, IPE finish care, stainless steel wire railing, bench details, and a more intentional outdoor layout.
New build project footage
Useful for homeowners comparing larger design-build projects where planning, sequencing, and construction coordination matter.
Project walkthrough clip
Video walkthroughs help clients understand the feel of a completed space in a way static galleries usually cannot.
Multiple Vino projects
A quick way to show range across different project types before visitors choose the service page or estimate path that fits them.
Complex project footage
Good for showing that not every project is a simple cosmetic update; some require deeper planning, site understanding, and careful execution.
Sahim Residence rebuild footage
This clip supports the story of a complex 2017 fire rebuild in the Monticello area, from structural progress and infrastructure through the contemporary modern home that followed.
Wine room renovation client video
A testimonial video from a Napa wine room renovation, included as direct client proof for custom specialty spaces, winery-adjacent work, and higher-detail interior remodels.
Accessible shower finish walkthrough
A short vertical clip that shows tile, glass, grab bars, fixtures, drain placement, and the finished shower experience better than a still image alone.

A strong project starts with the right team and the right path. Browse the main types of work homeowners usually ask us about.
Outdoor living
Decks, stairs, railings, patios, shade structures, and exterior spaces designed around how you want to use the property.
Interior remodels
Bathrooms, kitchens, and interior updates where layout, finish quality, and construction details all need to come together.
Design-build projects
ADUs, additions, larger remodels, and projects that need design, permit coordination, pricing, and construction under one process.
Drafting and planning
As-builts, layouts, elevations, and plan-set coordination for projects that need clearer design direction before construction.
Project planning
Compare real work before you request an estimate.
The right next step depends on your project type, property, city or county, and whether plans already exist. These examples help homeowners compare the kind of work Vino handles before starting a design-build, ADU, remodel, or construction conversation.
Project fit
ADUs, remodels, decks, additions, and custom homes each need different planning, budget, and permit decisions.
Useful details
Photos, rough dimensions, goals, timeline, location, and existing plans help the team understand your request faster.
Clear next step
Some projects can move toward an estimate quickly. Others need design, feasibility, or permit coordination first.
- ADUs and additions often need early design-build guidance around feasibility, permitting, access, utilities, and scope.
- Kitchens, bathrooms, decks, and exterior work are easier to review when the estimate request includes photos of the current space.
- Larger or uncertain projects benefit from choosing the right first step before jumping into pricing or construction.
The Vino process
A clearer path from first conversation to construction.
The exact path depends on the project, property, jurisdiction, and stage you are in. The goal is to help you avoid guessing your way through design, permits, budget, and construction decisions.
Project fit
Start with your goals, location, timeline, budget range, property constraints, and any photos, plans, or inspiration you already have.
Design direction
For projects that need planning, Vino helps clarify scope, layout, feasibility, and the decisions needed before pricing or permitting.
Permits and pricing
When applicable, the project moves into drawings, permit coordination, trade input, and pricing that reflects the actual scope.
Build and communicate
Once the path is clear, construction moves through scheduling, site work, inspections, finish details, and closeout communication.
